Let us pray also for the faithless Jews: that Almighty God may remove the veil from their hearts 2 Corinthians 3:13–16; so that they too may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord. Almighty and eternal God, who dost not exclude from thy mercy even Jewish faithlessness: hear our prayers, which we offer for the blindness of that people; that acknowledging the light of thy Truth, which is Christ, they may be delivered from their darkness. Through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Champion Of Gender Equality, Dies At 87
Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement
to her granddaughter Clara Spera: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be
replaced until a new president is installed."
She knew what was to come. Ginsburg's death will have profound consequences
for the court and the country. Inside the court, not only is the leader of the liberal
wing gone, but with the court about to open a new term, the chief justice no longer
holds the controlling vote in closely contested cases.
That's because Ginsburg's death gives Republicans the chance to tighten their grip
on the court with another Trump appointment so conservatives would have 6-to-3
majority. And that would mean that even a defection on the right would leave
conservatives with enough votes to prevail in the Obamacare case and many
others.
At the center of the battle to achieve that will be Senate Majority Leader Mitch
McConnell. In 2016, he took a step unprecedented in modern times: He refused for
nearly a year to allow any consideration of President Barack Obama's Supreme
Court Nominee.
Mostly Peaceful Riots -- The damage from riots and looting across the U.S. following the death of George
Floyd is estimated to be the costliest in insurance history – between $1 billion and
$2 billion.
Insurance Information Institute (or Triple-I) compiles information from a company
called Property Claim Services (PCS), which has tracked insurance claims related
to civil disorder since 1950, and other databases. It provided reports to Axios that
the damage from unrest between May 26 and June 8 will be the most expensive in
the nation’s history, surmounting the Rodney King riots of 1992 in Los Angeles.
The price tag could be as much as $2 billion and possibly more, according to
Triple I. But the protests related to Floyd differ from others the database has
tracked – never before have they been so widespread.
PROTESTERS SHOW UP AT LA HOSPITAL TREATING AMBUSHED COPS,
YELL 'I HOPE THEY F---- DIE'
"It's not just happening in one city or state – it's all over the country," Loretta L.
Worters of the Triple-I told Axios. "And this is still happening, so the losses could
be significantly more."
Two campaign team members for Republican Lacy Johnson, who is challenging
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), were shot Monday afternoon in Minneapolis, one fatally.
Minnesota Public Radio reports that one 17-year-old and another team member
were shot after being “approached on foot.” CBS 4 reports that the two were
standing outside Super USA convenience store at the time, and that a gunman, or
gunmen, fled the scene before they could be apprehended. The 17-year-old
succumbed to his wounds and the other campaign team member was hospitalized
with non-life-threatening injuries. Johnson’s Campaign stated that the two were
not carrying out official duties when shot.
Black Lives Matter activists continue to rage in the streets and inside our
institutions, demanding police reforms. Many of the strategies they advocate have
already been tested in the Pacific Northwest, where I live. They have proved
disastrous.
Consider Seattle, where it’s rare for most criminals to see meaningful jail time.
City Attorney Pete Holmes, a Democrat, fails to charge on half the criminal
referrals he receives, because he doesn’t believe jail works for many offenders.
When he does move forward, and a suspect isn’t already in custody (many usually
aren’t) he declines charges in 65 percent of the cases.
With that:
Remember that all day every day equality is a lie. Our Nation first and only --- Since no border no real country or nation or identity -- false BS about humanity is a lie.
No Border -- No White America.
A #White #EthnoState was the design of #TheFounders of #TheUnitedStatesofAmerica. They fought a SUPER POWER in #GreatBritain to gain a homeland for Free WHITE & 21. That is a fact children. Thank God, Said John Jay, that we have ONE culture and language to bind us.
